LowCash is a dance-pop-soul group that was conceived by multi-instrumentalist and producer Lucas Stephen in 2009. Bridging the gap between DJ and live instrumentation, the mission is to create a hard-hitting, high energy, and memorable concert experience. The lineup currently includes live drums, bass, percussion, horn section, and vocalist Avianna Acid. Additionally, LowCash has developed an advanced LED lighting setup to further harness the energy and vision of a live LowCash concert.
         After a short time spent writing and performing in Arizona they have quickly acquired an impressive following, garnishing praise and respect from the local industry and fans alike. Consequently, LowCash is always in consideration as both an event band as well as the headliner on their own terms. Musically, LowCash is one of very few groups drawing from the organic foundations of funk, soul, and R&B and fusing with contemporary electronic sounds. The updated version of LowCash’s song cache includes up to 25 originals and a handful of covers, a list that is rapidly growing.
         The near future of LowCash is to continue songwriting and building on the conceptual aspects of the concert experience. By the end of summer a second full length record will be released. By the end of 2011 the band will be relocated to San Diego, California in order to further pursue the industry. They will be working feverishly until then to improve upon the music and live aspects that are LowCash.
